About the role 

We are looking for a Marketing Senior Associate of Promotions to help drive our customer retention and marketing initiatives on the Sportsbook team. You will be critical to the success of the marketing campaigns to our existing players for FanDuel’s Sportsbook product. 

You will support the ideation, creation, execution and analysis of all our promotional campaigns on the sportsbook. You will be working closely with the CRM team Marketing Managers and Senior Manager, Sportsbook CRM and Retention. You will be exposed to FanDuel’s campaign and customer strategy, and to groups across the company who leverage CRM channels for their campaigns (e.g. Partnerships, Product, Acquisition). This role is strategy and execution focused, and is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and talented team with lots of opportunities for growth. 

What you’ll do 

  • Partner with the broader marketing team to develop a roadmap & playbook for sports promotions 
  • Analyze past performance to develop new proposals for promotions across all sports and customer value segments
  • Create a seamless workflow by organizing assets, terms and copy for key campaign stakeholders 
  • Own the promotional calendar and roadmap 
  • Report on ROI for both above the line and below the line offers. Work closely with the analytics team to understand promotional impact on customer value
  • Liaise with the Customer Support & Trading team around CRM specific and wider marketing campaigns; ensuring the support team is informed about all live and upcoming offers 
  • Liaise with content operations on having onsite content updated and promotions fulfilled
  • Support budgeting and cost reporting process for the Customer Retention and Engagement vertical 

This role may be for you if 

  • You have 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • You are analytically minded and comfortable making decisions using qualitative and quantitative data
  • You have proven effective at project management and have strong organizational skills. 
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator and display strong attention to detail. 
  • You are an avid sports fan and familiar with sports betting

Desirable

  • Excellent excel skills
  • Previous betting experience 
  • History of driving commercially successful outcomes
  • Strong reporting skills
