Away is a global lifestyle brand with a mission to transform travel through products and content that inspire people to get away more. In support of our mission, we are seeking a Senior Associate, Retention Marketing to join our Retention Marketing team.

Want to help us transform the travel experience? In this role, you will help deliver a world-class experience for our existing customers and be instrumental in driving customer engagement and improving customer retention. The right candidate is a creative and data-driven problem solver who is excited to contribute to the growth, development, and successful execution of our retention marketing programs. You will report to the Director of Retention Marketing and be based in our headquarters in SoHo, New York City. (This role is currently remote, and will remain fully remote through at least September 2021.)

What you'll do:

  • Assist in monitoring key metrics and KPIs that impact customer retention, from cohort and segment performance to customer lifetime value tracking, sharing out insights with key cross-functional teams to drive improvements across the business

  • Partner with our CX, Community Management, and Insights teams to gather key customer learnings, and develop new strategies to engage our most loyal customers and continually improve their experience throughout all points in their lifecycle

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners on new and ongoing initiatives within our referral program with the goal of increasing program awareness and advocacy

  • Develop and execute A/B testing plans to optimize and expand our referral program

  • Analyze performance of our email campaigns, referral program, and other retention marketing initiatives using Looker, Google Analytics, and other tools

  • Assist in the development of email marketing messages from initial concept and briefing through asset delivery, partnering closely with the Creative team to develop all email marketing assets and ensure delivery dates and channel goals are met

Who you are:

  • You have 2+ years minimum of relevant work experience, including at least 1 year of experience in retention, marketing, or a related role

  • You have an eye for detail

  • You’re highly organized and take a process-driven approach to all you do

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • You love data and have experience with data analysis tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel

  • You’re a self-starter who takes initiative and excels in time management

  • You’re a team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • You’re passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)

  • You can show proof of COVID-19 vaccination & adherence to HQ COVID office policies using Bindle, a secure platform that verifies vaccination status without sharing private health information, within 30 days of hire
