Senior Director of Corporate Communications

This is a highly visible position at an incredibly exciting and fast-moving time at Movable Ink. This position will have the unique opportunity to work cross functionally and manage a complex range of initiatives across the organization. The role will own strategy and execution for all aspects of corporate marketing and communications and contribute to Movable Ink’s brand position and successful achievement of its business goals.
The role will be reporting to SVP of Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute content strategy and PR programs to reach and influence Fortune 500 CMOs in US and Europe to drive relevance of the company, product offering and customer success stories
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team on all leadership communications and thought leadership strategies
- Manage owned channels including company website, blog and external press agency.
- Support conference speaking and company and client awards submissions
- Collaborate on a daily basis with VP of growth marketing and VP of product marketing to devise and execute strategies that drive awareness, competitive advantage and sales.
- Collaborate with operations on marketing scorecard and measurement frameworks and then
- Establish and maintain relationships with press and industry influencers and thought leaders
- Manage an internal speakers bureau of executives
- Partner with product marketing VP to manage relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester etc)
Qualifications:
- 10+ years work experience in PR/ Communications or newsroom
- Understanding of the media landscape in U.S. and Europe
- Highly creative and entrepreneurial self starter
- A team player with a positive attitude, strong collaborative skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and able to devise campaigns which have quantifiable impact to the business
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience in a fast growing company or technology-driven startup in the SaaS or digital marketing space
- Experience with crisis communications preferred, but not required
