Your Impact:

Handshake is hiring a Demand Generation executive for our Employer business. You’ll join a growing global Marketing team at a key juncture in our growth.

You are a Demand Generation leader that has a proven track record for scaling revenue, delivering timely products to market, and building a high-performing Demand Marketing team.

You’re an excellent communicator and enjoy working cross functionally to drive projects forward. You’re comfortable prioritizing what needs to be done and pushing back things that have less impact. 

Your Role

  • Drive the strategy, planning, and execution of a Demand Generation roadmap to achieve business outcomes for the Employer business
  • Hire and empower a successful Demand Generation team
  • Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Success to drive integrated and efficient demand generation campaigns that timely results
  • Align with Field leadership to align on priorities and ensure tight coordination of demand programming
  • Manage end-to-end lead management process in coordination with Ops and Sales leadership to drive maximum efficiency
  • Forecast, measure, and report on impact of demand programming activities to sales pipeline and revenue. Select targets, determine the marketing mix, and execute towards those goals. 
  • Ensure you partner with teams across Product Marketing and Content teams to bring a timely and relevant story to our audience
  • Implement testing methodologies across our channels, and website to enhance our performance across all channels
  • Work closely with our contractors and agencies to manage campaigns and projects. 
  • Ideate new and creative ways to engage our partners and prospects in the sector.

Your Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in SaaS marketing, with a preference for experience in the talent acquisition or education sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with executive communications
  • You also have the ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a dynamic, changing environment keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy. 
  • Can flex in as a player and coach
  • Technology oriented - you’re comfortable learning new systems and technologies. You have experience with marketing automation software and tools. 
  • Data driven and results oriented - you are comfortable working with data and focus on measuring impact with every campaign. 
  • Experience working with data platforms like Looker (or similar) or working with SQL is a major bonus.

  • Looker - analytics platform (SQL a plus)
  • Marketo - marketing automation platform
  • Salesforce - CRM
  • Outreach - sales enablement and email platform
  • G Suite collaboration platform
  • Webflow CMS

Compensation Range:

  • $225,000 - $250,000

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
