In this Senior Email Marketing Manager role, you will drive growth for the business by leveraging and building meaningful customer experiences and email best practices to create value for our customers. We're looking for someone who is data-driven but creative, has built new campaigns from scratch, thrives in a fast paced environment, and has successfully executed complex lifecycle email campaigns. . You will rely on data and testing to find new ways to drive upgrades, usage and retention through emails, app messaging and other marketing avenues you uncover. 

How you’ll contribute to #OneTeam

  • Craft and implement campaigns through planning, development and execution, resolving campaign issues to ensure they deliver on the campaign plan and meet or exceed goals
  • Champion best-in-class conversion and retention practices, from email deliverability and CTAs, to automation
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to plan and execute on campaign needs
  • Define and oversee intake process and rigorous Q/A standards
  • Lead and grow a high performing team of up-and-coming marketers
  • Manage relationship with and budgeting for email and marketing automation vendors
  • Lead the selection and implementation of CRM platforms
  • Collaborate with in-house creative and content teams to develop best in class templates
  • Ensure CRM campaigns support larger marketing and business objectives, maintaining a consistent brand experience across all channels
  • Liaise with Customer Operations to ensure a seamless experience for all users
  • Provide operational support for customer data initiatives

Who you are

  • 4+ years digital marketing experience, with demonstrated success delivering complex multi-channel CRM campaigns
  • Proven success building scalable, broad reach email acquisition and onboarding programs to maximize engagement
  • Experience using multiple channels (email, web, push, in-app messaging, and digital media) to communicate to customer base
  • Extensive experience using ESPs, Marketing Automation and other CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with relational databases and proficiency in HTML preferred

Two blocks up from Battery Park, Alfred is no more than a ten-minute walk to water south, east, and west. Our office is easy to get to with many subway lines, ferries, and the PATH within a short walk.
