HOMER has a newly created opportunity for a Senior Manager, Conversion Optimization to join our New York City Office (upon re-opening). As the Senior Manager of Conversion, you will own the vision, strategy and roadmap designed to improve and optimize conversion rate in HOMER’s acquisition funnels. This role sits within the HOMER Marketing team, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. 

In this position, you will develop a comprehensive, experiment-led conversion optimization strategy and collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of Marketers, Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Engineers to execute a plan to meet and ideally exceed conversion rate goals for both web and mobile sign ups. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced Conversion Optimization leader with a proven track record of driving significant growth through optimization best practices and experimentation for subscription businesses. You should bring deep and broad knowledge of experimentation and conversion optimization from landing page optimization to feature rollouts in the funnel experience. You have a unique opportunity in this role to improve customer acquisition costs, develop a strong web funnel,  and show demonstrable gains to contribute to growth.

You will:

  • Manage day-to-day conversion rate optimization and testing across all mobile and web funnels driving conversions for the HOMER program, a subscription-based business model
  • Manage customer experience on all relevant touch points across mobile and web funnels (i.e. app store pages, website discovery pages and all sign up funnels) 
  • Be results-oriented, leading the Conversion team to hit and ideally exceed conversion rate targets
  • Develop an iterative roadmap that will take into account mobile and website traffic sources and marketing strategy set forth by the Marketing team, looking at a prioritization methodology to drive experiments from design to implementation to interpretation of results.
  • Be responsible for driving in-funnel email leads and direct sign ups from HOMER co-branded partner products like Fisher-Price to HOMER’s main funnels
  • Develop the most compelling and competitive price, plan and offer strategy between web and mobile funnels, also working closely with Marketing Team to develop offers by marketing channel 
  • Obsess over driving radical gains through creating, executing, and refine testing roadmaps
  • Have strong customer-orientation, intensely interested in improving the customer journey and delivering the right experiences by specific audience 

Must Haves:

  • 8+ years of significant experience in conversion rate optimization with successful  execution of a CRO strategy with proven results, with at least 2 years of experience at a consumer subscription brand 
  • Deep understanding of ROI with an analytical and data-driven mind to run A/B, multi-page, and multivariate testing for fast iteration testing
  • Ability to be a team player and collaborate with cross-functional growth teams across Product, Design, Data, Engineering and QA, with an understanding of their roles and responsibilities as part of the conversion strategy
  • A creative-problem solving approach, adept at solving complex problems and able to think outside of the box
  • Strong marketing sensibility to understand how to best position HOMER’s offerings and create an optimal user journey in funnels based on sources of traffic
  • A strong perspective in developing a prioritization methodology taking into account the most critical factors to create high velocity of experiments  designed for maximum impact 
  • Hands-on experience using A/B testing tools like Optimizely and web and mobile analytics tools 
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to self-manage time and work schedule
  • Passionate about staying ahead of the curve on new strategies, advertising channels, and conversion optimization techniques
