Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing
The Trade Desk is changing the way global brands and their agencies advertise to audiences around the world. How? With a media-buying platform that helps brands deliver a more insightful and relevant ad experience for consumers — and sets a new standard for global reach, accuracy, and transparency.
So if you’re talented, driven, creative, and hungry to bring something entirely new and wildly ambitious into the world (and have some fun doing it), then we want to talk.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As programmatic continues to become more central to brand advertising efforts, it’s more important than ever to understand brand strategy, to get in front of the client and to become their marketing and execution partner. The Commercial Activation team plays a crucial role in this process by partnering with commercial stakeholders from across the company to examine the business and provide high-quality service, knowledge and materials that are coherent, compelling and concise, and that cover macro to micro topics.
As a Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, you will:
Think Strategically. Be a leading member of the team that identifies and analyzes business objectives and develops a strategy to clearly communicate The Trade Desk’s value to an advertiser’s business.
Know the Business. Become very familiar with The Trade Desk’s platform, product offering, resources, competitive advantages and, more generally, programmatic strategies.
Be a Storyteller. Leverage Trade Desk’s industry-leading position and proprietary technology to, clearly and succinctly, articulate how we can help contribute to our clients’ health and growth.
At the core, you will have a knack for synthesizing complex solutions into simplified sales narratives. And you will be a natural leader in the sales process with an eye towards collaboration and revenue generation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Work closely with the Client Development and Agency Development teams to identify global, high-growth accounts to upsell and pursue, and to communicate the value of our platform by aligning The Trade Desk’s media buying philosophy with that of our clients.
Partner with the Director of Commercial Activation on upstream projects and overall team development, like the positioning of key company initiatives, new product releases, industry vertical insights and internal trainings.
Build deep and lasting connections inside The Trade Desk departments and specialty functions.
WHO YOU ARE:
Passionate about the AdTech ecosystem and/or programmatic industry, and comfortable with online advertising measurement.
A strategic, analytic thinker and who can execute tactically to formulate a cohesive narrative utilizing a data-driven approach.
Comfortable communicating with those on the brand direct side and being able to translate TTD’s value proposition into something about which they care.
With 8-10 years of relevant experience in sales development, media planning, digital strategy, sales/corporate strategy or consulting; ideally within AdTech, the broader digital media industry, the television or streaming industry, at a SaaS company, or media consulting firm.
An independent worker, who’s a self-starter, self-motivated, and scrappy, and who well with ambiguity and take initiative and ownership to get the job done.
A great communicator, verbally and written, with written and the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
A team player who participates and leads discussions; share best practices and knowledge with other Commercial Activation Team members globally.
A quick learner who’s able to grasp new technology and product changes and able to turn a concept or idea into substantive sales materials.
Meticulous attention to detail and able to produce high-quality work that represents The Trade Desk in-market.
Proficient with Microsoft products like PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
