Senior Manager, Product Marketing (RWE)

The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will work on the Marketing strategy and execution for the Real World Evidence business focusing on value proposition development, market and competitive insights and enabling the client facing (Life Science Partnerships) team. This individual will report to the Director, Product Marketing and will partner closely with the Life Sciences Partnerships, Product, and Research Oncology teams to ensure we have a winning go to market strategy for Flatiron RWE. This person would also be expected to have a very strong understanding of and insights into the Oncology therapeutic area and how that drives use and application of RWE.

This role needs someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is excited to work in a startup like environment, very comfortable with ambiguity and has a passion for taking on some of the most complex challenges in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Flatiron RWE from competitor offerings
  • Align closely with Product and Life Sciences Partnerships to influence product roadmap prioritization by identifying customer and market needs
  • Contribute to and execute go-to-market launch strategies and value propositions for new RWE products / product rollouts, including cross-functional marketing plans
  • Work closely with the Life Sciences Partnerships team to enable Flatiron RWE sales and strategic partnerships
  • Contribute to Thought leadership content development efforts to drive content marketing programs targeting specific audiences
  • Create sales collateral and case studies that enable the LSP team’s engagement with clients and help deepen engagement at strategic accounts
  • Work closely with the Director, Product Marketing to explore the feasibility of new ideas or researching how to enhance existing RWE offerings

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree, advanced degrees preferred (MBA, MS or PhD in relevant area of study)
  • 5+ years of significant experience with pharma, biotech, healthcare / health tech or healthcare consulting ideally in in Oncology
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional storyteller and communicator, with the ability to turn complex data science / statistics, technology and clinical concepts into clear communications
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrates initiatives and jumps in to problem-solve as required

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in product marketing or product management
  • Experience in a commercially focused role i.e. Product marketing or product management or sales in a B2B setting for, either a tech / data product
  • Previous experience in a healthcare strategy consulting firm
