The Development Department’s Digital Strategy & Marketing team is seeking a passionate, strategic, creative, highly motivated Senior Marketing Associate to join its team. The Digital Strategy & Marketing team manages a revenue-driving, multi-channel digital program. Donations go to pioneering research and patient care at MSK and are vital to creating new and better treatments for cancer patients worldwide.
You will:
- Create, manage and execute multi-channel donor acquisition and conversion campaigns, continually optimizing toward campaign goals
- In collaboration with the Marketing Manager and agencies, build and scale paid media channels – search, social and display – and assist in shaping the performance marketing strategy
- Work with team to evaluate the impact of all paid media campaigns against business goals and provide marketing analytics reports as needed
- Drive collaboration with various stakeholders and leverage and improve internal processes
- Support team with agency relationship management
- Stay up-to-date on all digital marketing channels – especially search, social and display – to discover new opportunities
You are:
- Mission-driven and passionate about fundraising
- A driven marketer and expert in lead-generation with a thorough understanding of how to use paid media for acquisition
- Proficiency in the following channels – paid search, paid social, and display, and the following platforms – Facebook Ad Manager and YouTube Ads
- Experience with website and landing page best practices including testing and optimization methodologies
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated with very strong project management skills
- A strategic thinker who stays on top of tactical execution and deadlines and revenue goals
- Deeply curious about digital marketing trends, platform capabilities, and best practices
- Detail oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking with enthusiasm and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, collaborative team player who takes pride in personal and team success
You have:
- A Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years in marketing with an intimate understanding of paid media, both traditional and emerging channels (8 years of experience required in lieu of a Bachelor's degree)
- Lead generation experience, donor acquisition a plus
- Strong desire to raise funds for cancer research
- Data-driven acumen and deep understanding of marketing analytics
- A solid knowledge of website analytic tools
- Superior project management skills, with the determination and ability to drive a project from concept to launch
- The ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
