Share Local Media, or SLM, is a rapidly growing startup reimagining the world of offline marketing for tech and e-commerce companies. We started as e-commerce marketers ourselves, and launched SLM with a goal of turning direct mail into a high performing, scalable channel for a digitally native client set. The Role:
We’re looking for a motivated Senior Marketing Associate to join our quickly growing Programmatic Mail team. This role will be responsible for interfacing with the most strategic Poplar clients on a daily basis, helping them plan and execute their campaigns through the platform, as well as providing ongoing optimization through recommendations and analysis. You will also support the onboarding of new clients, walking them through campaign strategies and helping them build launch plans for their Poplar campaigns. Reporting to the Poplar Business Lead, this role will work closely with the product, data, and account teams across the business.
Basic responsibilities will include:
Campaign Strategy and Support:
Work with clients to develop targeting, creative and test strategies for their Poplar campaigns.
Work with our key data providers to source targeting options for clients, providing clients with recommendations and feedback.
Run demos of the platform with new potential clients, promoting the features and functionality of the platform.
Proactively communicate campaign performance with clients, offering insights into results and learnings.
Run weekly or bi-weekly sessions with major clients of the platform.
Work with our product team to develop key feature additions to support our top clients
No day at Share Local Media will be the same but a typical day could include the following activities:
Putting together a launch proposal for a new, key Poplar client.
Running a platform demo via Google hangout for an interested lead.
Status calls/meetings with clients to discuss future plans and strategy.
Analyzing client campaign performance and writing up reporting and strategy changes.
Working with the other teams at SLM on cross-sell opportunities for major clients.
Qualifications
1-3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales or business development
Passion for marketing, customer acquisition, brand & account management.
Strong sense of urgency and great time management skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written).
Very comfortable with analytics and taking a data-driven approach to marketing.
The ability to work independently and manage relationships.
Experience interfacing directly with clients, customers or agencies.
