The Social Team delivers best-in-class service and strategy to Code3's varied client base. We’re looking to hire a Senior Social Strategist to serve as a main point of contact for our clients and go above and beyond to support their needs. The Senior Social Strategist will support our most strategic accounts and have a well-rounded skill set across all aspects of media planning and delivery that allows them to confidently present POVs and strategic presentations that resonate with client marketing teams. 

The role requires a strong understanding of marketing & advertising, paired with a deep understanding of the social media space. Aside from client management and strategic planning, the Senior Social Strategist will mentor and coach more junior team members and help them in their own career paths. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in communicating with clients, comfort with managing multiple priorities, and deep knowledge of paid social media planning.

*Note: This role can be based remotely on the east coast.*

Responsibilities

Client & Partner Impact

  • Supports strategy leads in the translation of business objectives within briefs to social media objectives and strategy
  • Responsible for end-to-end strategic social planning of your clients campaigns, informed by your own research and your team's research into industry / platform trends and historic client performance 
  • Leads the creation of audience principles for respective clients, including segmentation and contextualization approach for messaging and targeting specific to social inputs. Support mapping of segments per platform based on KPI/objectives
  • Provides first round strategy deliverable review for items such as audience analysis, competitive overviews and media plans from Paid Strategist. Ensuring clear KPIs, objectives and appropriate measurement when applicable 
  • Act as a trusted touch point with our clients, platform partners & cross-functional teams regarding campaign strategy within the respective vertical
  • Prepares and presents strategic / tactical plans and recommendations and is comfortable sharing with the clients and internal team members
  • Regularly leads external & internal meetings
  • Participate in internal and external trainings to improve channel growth
  • Assists Supervisor in all day-to-day client, agency and partner communication
  • Actively shares POVs, campaign insights, partner learnings and account wins, internally and externally
  • Writes and develops the Social Platform POVs for clients & client industries - i.e. serves as the lead for a POV on a new social platform, new targeting beta for a specific client or “D2C retail” industry

Cross-Functional Impact

  • Collaborate with other team members to create media strategy that is timely, relevant, and ladders back up to the initial strategy you’ve set forth 
  • Maintain open and productive communications with platform partners, ensuring our campaigns are of the highest standard
  • Regularly participates in agency-wide meetings

People Impact

  • Supports in onboarding of new team members and oversight / mentorship for Strategist level

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in paid social

Preferred Skills

  • Global paid social campaign management
  • Experience in working with large datasets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Proven ability to navigate client and external communication
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment
