Your Impact on our Mission:
In this role, you will focus on increasing our presence in search engines and making Zocdoc the first stop in a user’s healthcare journey. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams to implement SEO best practices in order to improve our rankings and traffic. As our company scales, we expect you to grow current search markets, identify new opportunities and ensure Zocdoc provides the best experiences for users and bots alike.

Your day-to-day is…

• Help set strategic direction for organic search growth and make decisions that affect critical aspects of the business
• Provide actionable recommendations that drive SEO goals and ensure strong search presence
• Drive on-page & off-page optimization adhering to Zocdoc's and web standards
• Collaborate with product, content and creative teams to refine and execute SEO recommendations
• Monitor overall SEO program success with regards to ranking, indexed pages, backlinks and report to senior management

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

• 5+ years of experience in SEO
• A background in both on-page and off-page SEO
• Experience analyzing large data sets generated from multiple sources, including analytics, site crawls, and third-party SEO tools
• Solid technical understanding of web technologies, including search/web/internet protocols
• The ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and work alongside cross-functional teams
