This is a contract position focused on creating and implementing internal programs that improve SEO rankings for our customers. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success team to understand our restaurant customers’ online needs. You’ll also work with our Onboarding and Product teams to fully understand our platform and template capabilities. Over a 3-month period, you’ll create and implement a program including best practices, guides, training materials and more, that our team will use as resources in improving our customers' online presence. Depending on ongoing needs, this could turn into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Research and understand our customers’ industry, strategic needs, goals, and various online channels and opportunities
  • Explore, make recommendations and oversee improvements to our platform and templates that have a positive impact on our customers search rankings
  • Plan and test Searches Engine Optimization campaigns that deliver results and can be codified across thousands of accounts
  • Create materials that include SEO-impacting best practices and standard operating procedures when onboarding customers onto the BentoBox platform
  • Lead various workshops for our internal teams to understand how we can be supporting our customers better in their online goals when it comes to local rankings
  • Act as go-to resource for our team and customers for all and any SEO related questions
  • Deliver a framework for strategy development and organization that our Customer Success teams can use to service our customers
  • Create necessary internal and external reporting to share metrics related to optimization and performance

Requirements and Skills

  • 3 + years’ SEO experience within multiple brands or digital agency
  • Proven success improving SEO for SMB/brick & mortar establishments, with metrics and stats to back it up
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Expert level proficiency in SEO related tools (Moz, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Experience with keyword search/ data mining tools and competitive analysis
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript
