Description

Hydrant is seeking a Shopper Marketing Manager to develop the strategy and elevate the retail experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-growth CPG company that knows what drives sales and success in-store across all channels. This role will serve as the eyes and the ears for Hydrant and will be essential in the development of Hydrant’s retail presence. As well, this teammate will lead the growing Brand Ambassador team that will assist in demos and experiential events across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an impactful shopper marketing plan, both nationally and at the customer level, to drive sales
  • Support development of omnichannel marketing approach to win in both retail & e-commerce
  • Play a major role in the day to day execution of retailer-specific shopper programming, working with sales and agency team to manage timelines, develop assets, and read results
  • Own and lead Brand Ambassador team Nationwide
  • Optimize demo/experiential events for maximization of sales
  • Manage and optimize in-store offers and campaigns
  • Support the sales team across various channels of trade by delivering effective, tools/initiatives in a timely fashion
  • Manage and track shopper marketing budget to ensure spending to target
  • Actively stay current with the evolving shopper landscape, particularly the increasing role of new channels and technology in the shopping experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experiential and sales experience (preferably CPG)
  • Background in event execution and brand marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A people person with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Previous staff management experience, with a record of building team culture
  • Willingness to get hands dirty working in-store demos and experiential events
  • Detail-oriented to maximize and success
  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally and hold agencies accountable
