We’re looking for an outstanding social leader to develop and execute a world-class strategy that inspires creator communities to engage with and love the Skillshare brand.


In this role you’ll elevate our presence as an influential creative voice, defining how we entertain, educate and authentically express ourselves across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter. You’ll bring our vision and values to life through bold, innovative content and storytelling while staying ahead of the curve on channel best practices and audience preferences. You’ll ensure that we are at the frontlines of culture as it unfolds, researching and evaluating current events, trends, movements, and influencer marketing opportunities both in real-time moments and as part of longer-term integrated brand plans.


As coach and champion of a growing team, you’ll develop best-in-class talent who can think strategically and execute creatively. You’ll oversee flawless delivery of assets and copy and own social reporting, working closely with platform analytics to crystallize insights and continuously improve campaign performance. 

What you'll do day-to-day:

  • Develop a cohesive social voice that adapts to new and existing platforms through storytelling, engagement, and connection
  • Create and own plans for always-on organic and paid social activations including premier creative events such as SXSW and AdobeMAX
  • Partner with our in-house Brand Studio, Growth Marketing, and content programming teams to develop and execute campaign launch strategies 
  • Coach and grow a small team that manages execution across all social channels, as well as social listening and community management
  • Create, maintain, and evolve processes and systems to ensure effective messaging across platforms and KPI achievement - constantly seeking a balance between engagement and growth

  • A plus if you have managed and scaled social programs for a global brand, in partnership with regional leads (either in-house or at an agency)
