The Role:

The role of Social Marketing Manager is a newly designed role, and you’ll be a critical architect in the growth of this enterprise-wide marketing team. Reporting to the Sr. Director for Social & Content Activation, the Social Marketing Manager must be highly knowledgeable about all aspects of social marketing - both creatively and technically. You will ideate, plan and manage the creation, execution of organic social content across many audiences: our customers (B2C), our partners (B2B), our employees & the broader brand marketplace. In this role, your channel focus will include (but is not limited to): LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram/Meta & internal employee advocacy channels, while helping us test into new environments as appropriate. 

Along with the Sr. Director of Social Content & Activation, you will be responsible for building an integrated, closely aligned structure and set of processes for the ongoing use of social media and content in branded experiences. The successful candidate will have a passion for driving business results through social marketing, a collaborative instinct for working across cross-functional teams & be a pioneer in growing our team and function within DailyPay. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with cross-functional teams to integrate and scale the impact of social marketing across DailyPay, including PR Comms, B2B Partner Marketing, Consumer Growth Marketing, and Brand
  • Imagine, plan, create and manage engaging, effective social marketing content across all platforms for our “B2B2C” marketing audiences, adhering to and protecting brand guidelines
  • Own the use and intersection of technology tools (e.g. CMS, Social publishing) across the organization, including a focus on social customer support, employee amplification, marketing analytics and social creative content
  • Maintain an ongoing calendar of thought leadership themes, holidays and weeks to ensure we are relevant and current in evergreen social dialogue
  • Create, source and design strong visuals for social marketing, including photos, video and graphics, working with cross-functional teams to integrate creative processes
  • Stand up and scale DailyPay’s grassroots influencer strategy within social marketing; liaise and lead projects with external agency teams and internal Brand Marketing teammates
  • Research, review and report metrics regularly to guide and develop effective social marketing strategies; be a catalyst for new measurement approaches
  • Stay ahead of social trends to ensure that DailyPay is optimizing social marketing efforts and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in social marketing & content strategy/development
  • Experience with social marketing technology systems (e.g. Sprout Social, EveryoneSocial or similar CMS & Social platforms)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational prowess and attention to detail (you will be engaging with Sr. Leadership regularly!)
  • A strong grasp of marketing principles, including brand-building & creative experience design, marketing analytics & reporting as well as integrated channel marketing (omnichannel)
  • Experience with creating, sourcing and developing strong, engaging visuals and copy for social marketing (images, graphics, video)
  • Ability to lead projects, managing & maintaining integrated social programs across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with influencer, user-generated content & micro-influencer program strategies
  • Comfortable embracing data-driven marketing; interest in telling stories through data & analytics
