Social Media & Community Associate (New Women's Brand)
As the Social Media & Community Associate, you will be a part of the core team responsible for building a community and shaping the storytelling around a new disruptor brand built for today’s woman.

You will be a part of a team that is developing breakthrough brand narratives that help introduce us to the world and create a deep relationship with our consumers, bringing these stories to life through key social platforms and formats - new and old.
About the Role
Coming in from the beginning, the Social Media & Community Associate will work alongside the Head of Creative & Communications to bring the brand to life on key social channels. This role will be a central member of our new Brand Communications team, working across a variety of social platforms, community development programs, and content/storytelling franchises.
The ideal candidate will come into this role with a passion for content, creative storytelling, and engaging community.
What you will accomplish:
- Social Media Planning & Execution: acting as the day-to-day keeper of the brand on social — this role is behind the creation, scheduling, management, and execution of the daily, weekly, and monthly social media plans. The Social & Community Associate will deliver innovative content and campaigns across social platforms under the guidance of the Head of Comms.
- Community Building & Management: own community across all social platforms, including fostering and developing an engaged community around the brand as well as ongoing management (monitoring, responding, engaging, and moderating).
- Influencer Community Management: Identifying, tracking, and engage influencers, content creators, and tastemakers for content and relationship-building opportunities throughout the year. Will act as the primary day-to-day liaison working with our agency partner(s) and supporting the execution of gifting programs.
- Storytelling & Original Content Creation: Conceptualize, create and launch original social media campaigns that uniquely bring the brand to life and inject our brand personality and business goals into meaningful storytelling moments that lives on social throughout the year. Spearheading strategy for UGC across all social and digital channels
- Brand Stewardship: acting as a brand shepherd, the Social & Community Associate will guide and translate our brand into relatable and relevant content for our social channels. This includes establishing (in partnership with the Creative Team) a cohesive visual aesthetic and unified brand voice across different social media channels, ensuring all content is brand-aligned, and working with social partners (other brands/influencers) to accurately communicate brand messages and tone.
- Trendwatching and Insights: stay on top of new cultural trends, competitor monitoring, and emerging social channels — analyzing and formally presenting opportunities for growth and being a first-mover in the space; and incorporate this knowledge into timely, editorial content based on popular events, holiday moments, pop culture, and more.
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyze performance metrics for social campaigns (updating weekly/monthly reports), monitor competitors and establish and standardize KPIs (e.g., EMV, social following, engagement, etc.) for success as we grow.

Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of Social Media management experience at an in-house brand (preferably D2C) or agency
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Creative, Marketing, Communications or other relevant disciplines
- Proficiency with all social platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and social management tools such as Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, Brandwatch, or similar
- Active and engaged participant in social media (provide links)
- Photo/Video editing experience/basic design capabilities for social media a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
- Familiarity with web and social media analytics (Looker, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.)
