About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who is excited to be part of our early story and help us build a diverse and vibrant growth organization that is on a mission to make pet care more accessible and affordable for all pet parents. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Brand to strategize and execute organic campaigns and ensure brand presence. We look for candidates with a strong sense of ownership who enjoy taking projects from ideation to execution. We value people who take pride in their work, and show an aptitude for learning quickly and being agile. What You'll Do
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Source and publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Work closely with the design team to produce content to fill out a regular posting schedule Maintain regular posting schedule on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter & Tiktok (+Linkedin)
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Update profiles regularly Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
- Provide support to the Head of Brand with influencer marketing campaigns
- Analyze data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives
What You'll Need
- Proven work experience as a social media manager
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical skills
- BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
