Job Description:
The Social Media Manager would be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and posting content across our clients’ social platforms through pre-planned content calendars, community management, reporting, and strategy. The Social Media Manager should be comfortable owning tasks from conception all the way to testing and execution. This candidate will work closely with our designer, clients and executive team. The ideal candidate has established a track record as a dedicated, proactive and positive person who is passionate about growth, and is ready for their next challenge. This is a highly visible role that will report to the CEO, and will communicate with the team on a regular basis regarding content schedule and production, social strategy + analytics, trends and audience growth.

In this role, you will utilize your knowledge and understanding of social media to strengthen our social media presence and build positive community engagement around our products. Finally, you will own testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives engagement and reporting back the impact of social media on the business growth to all teams (client, design, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Audits and strategy for new clients to plan for content
Create content calendars for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Manage content calendar, copy, assets and organization of files from internal and external sources
Research and keep up to date on social media trends, tactics and competition
Think creatively about ways in which you can help our clients increase brand awareness, optimize engagement and continually grow a targeted following on social media
Help with pitches/decks for business development
Manage, promote, and execute editorial content based social media initiatives and campaigns across all social media platforms
Generate schedules for all social media campaigns, strategize and present ways to improve campaigns along the way, and report to team about their success
Analyze and report social media analytics to editorial, digital, and marketing teams to inform decision making and determine best practices
Key Competencies:
2-3 years in a professional social media related position
Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to come up with big ideas and execute with an “anything is possible” attitude
Expert knowledge of all things digital and social media (across multiple channels)
Quick responder, can respond in real-time
Strong creative skills (writing and concepting)
Detail-oriented and proactive
Proficiency in your use of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
Proven experience in managing paid social campaigns
Knowledge of analytics, tracking and social media monitoring tools (i.e. Sprout Social)
Creative, data-driven, entrepreneurial, collaborative and have a desire to see measurable results
A keen understanding of both what drive’s consumer engagement and platform algorithms
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Self-starter with a hands-on approach, a good sense of prioritization and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
