OnePlus is looking for a passionate and experienced Social Media Strategist to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate would have a strong grasp of the social landscape, marketing strategy, social data analytics, and social content strategy. We’re looking for someone who has a history of planning engaging content and proactively pursuing opportunities for platform growth.
This role will be in New York City, at our North America Headquarters.

What you'll do:
Develop, organize and execute social content/strategies that enhance the OnePlus North American brand in the digital space, including:
- Lead social planning and rollout schedules for specific campaigns as well as evergreen content.
- Analyze available insights, generate new insights to define overall Social brand strategy, social campaign strategies.
- Remain up to date on branded content regulations and restrictions.
- Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, clients, competitors, and/or industry, whether that be with existing customers, prospects, industry experts, or brand-new audiences who don’t yet know us.
- Launch influencer seeding strategies to support new products, brand campaigns and other social media drivers.
- Explore new ways to engage new and existing social networks to reach our prospects and customers.
- Lead social brainstorming sessions to help inform our social briefs.
- Work closely with the head of social to establish larger strategies for paid social awareness driven campaigns and oversee paid social copy.
- Develop and present day-to-day strategies within a campaign; providing strategic recommendations for social integration across teams
- Develop weekly briefs for design and agency partners, providing guidance in creative development
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in social media strategy and content development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Knowledge of paid social platforms is a plus
- Painstaking attention to detail and project management
- Clear comprehension social best practices and what’s on the cusp digitally
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Stellar writing and communication skills
