Who is MANTL?

MANTL is tackling the biggest challenge limiting the modernization of the U.S. banking system: legacy infrastructure. MANTL’s software transforms the cost structures of banks and credit unions – empowering growth that’s up to 78% faster and 4x more efficient. It’s white-labeled account opening platform enables people to open deposit accounts on any device in roughly 2 minutes and 37 seconds. MANTL began as a challenger bank when an aha moment inspired the founders to pivot from competing to partnering with banks to deploy its technology at scale.

MANTL helps community institutions raise billions of dollars in core deposits each year and is up to 10x more cost-effective than building a brick-and-mortar branch.

Who makes up our team?

People are our most important asset and the number one reason we all love working at MANTL. As a team, we value accountability, transparency and collaboration. We have agile teams, with clear, outcomes-focused goals.

We want to work with inclusive people who understand the importance of treating their colleagues exceptionally well - people who will gladly go out of their way to help others with things big and small.

We are always a work in progress and love hearing feedback from our team.

About The Role

This is a cross-functional marketing role, where you’ll own the relationship with event organizers to manage, coordinate and execute events and other industry specific channels targeting B2B enterprise prospects (banks and credit unions) from start to finish.

As the Senior Events Manager you will be responsible for executing and managing owned, industry and field events end-to-end as well as partner-specific marketing programs to drive acquisition and support our growth efforts. This person will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product and PR teams to deliver effective campaigns.

Who You Are

You collaborate closely with the digital marketing team to execute campaigns, manage lead flow and report on success metrics related to lead acquisition and engagement.

You have experience sourcing, structuring, negotiating, managing and executing partnerships with industry associations and publications at the local and national level to help drive lead acquisition and engagement primarily through event opportunities.

You have experience managing end-to-end industry event initiatives for both online and in-person events, including determining participation and sponsorship level, logistic management, creative management, messaging, and success tracking as well as budgeting - working with design, sales, analytics and communications teams.

You can work closely with PR and content to identify thought leadership topics, manage speaker selection, agenda, and overall event communication with a growth mindset.

You can partner with design and content to develop and produce creative event materials such as invites, landing pages, sales brochures and event signage.

You have experience collaborating with Sales teams to improve lead scoring model, assess lead quality from event and campaign efforts, amplify campaigns, and ultimately ensure a smooth transition for prospects from marketing to sales

You can manage end-to-end logistics for each event, including coordinating travel, onsite activities, client meetings, booth set up and take down, booth signage, swags, give-aways, etc.

You have experience analyzing, optimizing and reporting on event, partnership and campaign success to project performance and deliver a consistent flow of MQLs.

You can provide detailed follow-up, including ROI and year-over-year comparisons, on conferences and other events by incorporating historical knowledge of those events, as well as making recommendations for future events. You take a detail-oriented, thoughtful approach to event and campaign execution.

You’re willing to travel occasionally (once live events resume)

An Insider's view of MANTL

What’s the vibe like in the office?

I was initially a bit apprehensive about the idea of working in the FinTech space, as I had heard horror stories of tense work environments, exceptionally long working hours and closed-off office culture. Mantl caught me off guard by rejecting these standards and offering a human-centric, open work environment for me to do my best work in.

Leo Wicht

Lead Engineer

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

Banking technology is falling far behind the consumer fintechs out there, yet millions of customers in the US still use community banks. Banks need better customer-facing products, or they will disappear.

Mike Bosserman

VP of Growth

How does the company support your career growth?

While working at Mantl, I have been tasked with a variety of diverse and important projects that have given me the opportunity to learn new technologies, design patterns, and best practices. In addition, I have been given a level of autonomy and responsibility over my work that would not have been possible at a larger company.

Thuy Dao

Software Engineer

What is your vision for the company?

Our vision for MANTL is to be the technology platform that powers our financial ecosystem. We're starting with the regional and community banks in the U.S. who are reliant on crumbling legacy infrastructure, and need our help to give their customers and employees modern tools and experiences.

Nathaniel Harley

Co-founder, CEO

What makes someone successful on your team?

At Mantl, we empower everyone to think big and constantly raise the bar to develop innovative solutions that not only meet, but exceed our customers’ expectations. We value transparency and integrity to do what’s right for our customers without compromise.

Lidia Shong

Senior Director of Marketing
