About LeafLink

LeafLink is the largest unified B2B cannabis platform, providing licensed cannabis businesses a suite of tools to manage their business more effectively, sell or order from their favorite brands and accelerate growth. We are one platform, one solution and we’re defining the way thousands of cannabis brands, distributors and retailers streamline their operations. With thousands of brands and retailers across 30+ markets in North America, we are setting the industry standard for how cannabis businesses grow together. LeafLink processes more than $4.4 billion in wholesale cannabis orders annually.

Our team, backed by funding from leading VC's, including Founders Fund, Thrive Capital, Nosara Capital, and Lerer Hippeau is poised to define the cannabis supply chain through technology.  LeafLink was named one of Inc. 5000’s ‘Top 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies’, one of Built In NYC's 'Best Places to Work in 2021', as well as one of Fast Company's 'Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Enterprise for 2020', joining the ranks of Amazon, Slack, and VMWare - and we're just getting started!

The Role

LeafLink is seeking an experienced Sr. Growth Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and executing a best-in-class growth marketing strategy for a complicated B2B business, including customer acquisition, customer retention, and marketing operations. You will lead a team of talented growth marketers to help them achieve our team goals and grow in their careers, and will manage our relationships with key contractors and third party vendors.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience using creative demand generation tactics to generate MQLs across multiple business lines. The cannabis industry and the behavior of our niche audience makes many traditional advertising channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google) either impossible or not as relevant, so experience concepting and executing alternative B2B demand gen tactics is important.

You will be responsible for optimizing the customer journey alongside our client-facing teams to drive activation, retention, and key customer behaviors. You should also have a deep understanding of e-commerce marketing to drive GMV through our marketplace, and be comfortable working through data challenges to build automated conditional campaigns to increase purchasing.

You will play a key role on our marketing leadership team, and be responsible for reporting packages that will be shared with executive leadership and company-wide. The role requires curiosity, and an analytical minded person. However, you’ll help write the playbook, rather than inherit one. You must be comfortable moving quickly, and dealing with a significant amount of ambiguity. You will receive direction, coaching, and mentorship, however you will need to be self-motivated, with a great deal of initiative.

An Insider's view of LeafLink

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

On a large scale, the LeafLink team collaborates during “Huddle Booze Report” (HBR), a biweekly meeting where team leaders present on company KPIs, accomplishments, and challenges (with some beers). How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

As co-founder and CTO it’s important for me to maintain official communication channels with teams and individuals.
