About the role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Audience Development to drive content marketing, consumption and monetization for our O&O properties as well as multimedia and social. The role will be instrumental in driving growth and market penetration of our content initiatives.

Reporting to the Vice President, Content Business & Operations, this is an impactful role that will help shape the long-term strategic direction of our content ecosystems.

What you'll do

  • Own FanDuel Group's audience growth by designing and executing creative solutions to attract and retain more visitors to FanDuel Group's content experiences through social (paid and organic), newsletters, and organic search
  • Help FanDuel Group understand and interpret the behavior of its users and the content they consume
  • Identify emerging distribution platforms and assist editorial in developing and experimenting with new content, distribution and monetization opportunities
  • Track progress in daily and weekly reports across various metrics
  • Use data to spot opportunities and refine strategies
  • Collaborate with our internal analytics, marketing, and product teams to drive user growth and engagement
  • Work with external partners and vendors to achieve group and company goals
  • Explore new ideas and concepts to further develop how FanDuel Group's offerings drive people to consume stories worthy of their time and attention

Who we’re looking for

  • 4-6+ years of experience in audience development, content marketing, product management or publisher monetization
  • Track record working across teams and designing and managing projects to completion
  • Deep understanding of publisher marketing and monetization strategies as well as social media platforms and their respective engagement strategies
  • A data-driven approach and deep familiarity with analytics tools
  • Willingness to experiment and adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Positive, contagious energy
  • Prior experience in publishing and media is preferable, but a passion for great content is key
  • Love for sports is a plus
