We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Growth & Marketing Data Science to join Team Snapchat!
Drive a holistic view of the customer using techniques to build profiles of consumers that help generate deeper understanding of conversion, retention and subscription growth.
Conduct in-depth analysis of all data sources, asking the right questions, testing hypotheses, identifying patterns and providing the necessary business context to translate what it all means for overall growth, friending, activation/re-engagement, notifications and email strategy.
Manage an international team of data scientists.
Predictive modeling work to better understand underlying business drivers, cohort analysis, and customer journeys that help grow DAU.
Forecasting growth through the entire funnel of registration and subject matter expert on a series of critical business health KPIs.
Lead the development & implementation of regular insights share-outs that drive the consumer voice throughout the organization
Build tools to understand how our ML and ranking systems behave, not just perform.
Improve the effectiveness of marketing investment decisions through the creation of scalable analytics and rigorous deep-dives including ad hoc modeling and analysis in order to achieve business and company goals
Deliver on roadmap for customer reporting, marketing performance, retention curves and LTV including a continuous improvement approach for accurate and timely reporting and measurement working with business stakeholders
Design and create realtime, daily, weekly, monthly dashboards to help monitor and identify key business trends, ensuring data quality.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Expert knowledge of digital marketing performance principles and metrics as well as analytics tools
Exceptional troubleshooting skills and should thrive in high expectation scenario with many stakeholders
Manage, develop, and motivate a team of highly specialized and technical analysts
Passion for innovation and ability desire to constantly test new technologies
Deep knowledge of database structures and identity management
Ability to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams
Ability to build effective relationships with key operational partners especially data management and technical teams
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, and computer science, or equivalent years of experience
10+ years of experience in measurement and insights; ideally in a direct to consumer business
5+ years experience in building, managing, and leading a high-performing data analytics team
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Computer Science, Physics)
Experience in digital marketing measurement
SQL (Snowflake, BQ Amazon Redshift,, etc.) experience and relational databases experience
Java and/or Python development experience
Experience working in Big Data stack environments (AWS, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, etc.)
