Addepar is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about building go-to-market strategies in an exciting market and growing our partner ecosystem. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers and partners, our industry and use this knowledge to prioritize and drive the right go-to-market efforts. You will craft messaging and positioning to further accelerate our growth and design marketing tactics that drive demand, enable customer-facing teams, and enable partner technology solutions.

The role will need the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits customers can digest is critical, as well as an ability to think strategically about Addepar product and services positioning. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing and working closely with the Head of Partnerships, you’ll become an expert in the market, the product, and technology solutions for multiple segments of Wealth Management how they modernize our industry and help transfer that knowledge to our client-facing teams. 

A key component will be researching the industry landscape for a specific partner category, develop the go-to-market strategy for new product integrations, meet with your counterparts at partner firms to strategize on the launch plan, and draft messaging for internal and external enablement materials. Product marketers at Addepar are responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the customer, enabling sales and driving revenue. You'll partner with third parties, product managers, product designers, engineers, product content strategists, marketers, sales executives, and the client success organization to ensure messaging is aligned, toward the goal of a cohesive and customer-centric narrative. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to partnership strategy in collaboration with product management, sales, and marketing, and drive the Addepar partner narrative.
  • Inform our partner prioritization through a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and competition. Partners can include technology providers, channel partners, and service partners.
  • Deliver on revenue objectives through selecting partnerships and integration offers. 
  • Work with product management to build and track KPIs around partnership feature adoption and alignment with revenue and retention targets.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy for partnerships and drive the execution of launch plans. Develop joint value propositions, positioning and messaging that help to differentiate Addepar in the market.
  • Drive co-marketing with partners, working with their marketing team and ours to develop and execute programs that raise awareness and generate leads.
  • Build tools to communicate joint value propositions to clients and prospects, enable internal and external teams, and drive user adoption.
  • Ensure that all relevant teams across the organization are kept informed of partnership activity.
  • Manage programs to collect user feedback, analyze data, and distill and share insights across the broader organization.
  • Track competitive and market intelligence.

About You: 

  • 7+ years in software product marketing and/or product management in a B2B startup or face-paced SaaS company.
  • The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience working with sales, professional services, partner and customer-facing teams in a marketing or product role.
  • Experience in positioning enterprise software products effectively to different external and internal audiences.
  • Developing KPIs for measuring performance and past experience using OKRs for goal-setting.
  • Track record of crafting and executing go-to-market plans from research to concept to launch and adoption that drives revenue.
  • Ability to operate independently and make decisions. 
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
