Meeting your future team:

We are seeking a Vice President of Brand Strategy and Communications, which is a new position to help us continue our accelerated high-growth, pre-IPO, journey as the leading Data Intelligence company in the world. This position will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive, multiplatform internal and external marketing strategies to build awareness and equity for Collibra. The ideal candidate will be a brand marketing expert to help us take our marketing strategy to the next level, to think big about what we aspire to become, to dive deep into our customer set and emerge with marketing propositions that shake the market. 

This global, transformative role is tailored for an experienced B2B creative strategist who thrives on driving change, reporting directly to our CMO. It will oversee a multi-functional team including Brand Studio, Communications, Public Relations, and Analyst Relations to drive cohesion across brand and media positioning.

The Vice Presidents of Brand Strategy & Communication at Collibra is responsible for:
  • Developing and executing the strategy for brand representation and amplification through their direct management of the organization’s brand, creative services, corporate messaging, content and brand awareness campaign strategy globally
  • Developing, activating, governing and measuring the brand, including rebranding initiatives, brand architecture, post-acquisition brand strategy, brand research, and brand monitoring
  • Establishing a best-in-class brand measurement framework for overall reputation, including awareness, perception and preference
  • Working with the executive team on crafting a meaningful corporate message that articulates the organization’s value to key audiences and activates it through content narratives and thought leadership, play the lead role in ensuring adoption of the resulting deliverables
  • Building a “Brand Studio” comprised of creative resources including designers and writers who create assets for our marketing programs; this team will need to evolve and develop brand guidelines for the visual and verbal brand to be used by the Demand Center, Digital Marketing team, Sales, Customer Success and others as needed
  • Defining and operationalizing the marketing content strategy through a model that depicts the activities, processes and key deliverables required to support best-in-class content throughout its lifecycle, including creating provocative, differentiated messaging and thought leadership materials that set the business apart from our competitors
  • Overseeing the team that develops, owns and manages the company’s global media relations strategy
  • Being accountable for the success of our global agency and ensure consistency in both quality of coverage and message pull-through across all geographies that advance Collibra’s brand, reputation and influence
  • Partnering with our Chief People Officer and CEO to develop an internal communication strategy to increase employee engagement and create excitement about the company and brand
  • Driving our Analyst Relations strategy to continue to place high in key analyst reports
You Have:
  • 15+ years of progressive strategic, leadership experience in brand marketing and communications in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience building a “brand studio” and leading marketing communications professionals in various geographic locations while directly managing a budget. You have demonstrated the ability to guide, develop and retain a growing team, set goals, delegate responsibilities, hold teams accountable for outcomes, and provide thoughtful, learning-oriented feedback
  • Strong media contacts across a broad range of influencers and journalists covering the data intelligence and SaaS landscape
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital communications and how all the program components (PR, social, editorial, thought leadership, etc.) fit together to create an integrated strategy
  • Experience creating a content engine to drive high-quality B2B marketing materials for demand programs, web and other GTM campaigns 
  • A consistent record of planning, executing and measuring successful global communications campaigns

  • An outstanding communicator and presenter, equally comfortable speaking in front of intimate groups of executives and broader groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with leaders across the marketing team, sales, senior executives and C-suite members 
  • Analytical, with a passion for using data to build strategies and measure their effectiveness
