We are seeking a growth-oriented Vice President of Marketing, reporting to the CEO, to provide vision, strategy and execution across marketing disciplines for our Digital Experience Monitoring SaaS platform.  A next-generation leader of Marketing who brings high-velocity, data-driven sales and marketing experience from successful business software companies and who can apply those experiences in a uniquely successful go-to-market formula at Catchpoint.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Partner with leaders across the company to translate the business objectives into a cohesive, comprehensive go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product groups to continuously refine go-to-market plans across multiple segments, verticals, product, channels and geographies.
  • Drive the understanding of the market, the customers and their journey, and then to help build a world-class demand funnel.
  • Build a category-leading, marketing-led culture that works as a peer at the senior leadership table, constantly helping to represent both the voice of the market and customer on all strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead and execute all Brand Marketing efforts across all channels including brand development, content marketing, social media, PR, influencer marketing, partnerships, advertising, experiential marketing and other events
  • Help position the company as a thought leader among customers, in the press and analyst communities, and against competitors. Refine, improve and align the organization on product and solution value propositions.
  • Communicate the marketing strategy across the company to ensure brand vision and values are understood.
  • Oversee the corporate Demand Generation strategy and operations, across all channels, including campaigns, execution, and reporting & analysis.
  • Manage and develop a team of 6; building capabilities and establishing goals to deliver results quarter over quarter, year over year. Engage and support career development.  Hire and develop new talent as the organization scales

 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of relevant, B2B marketing experience, preferably for a global SaaS software company
  • Proven ability to successfully lead marketing strategy and execution for a complex SaaS software product
  • Ability to plan and execute scalable go-to-market strategies to support company, sector and product growth – Both organic and inorganic
  • An understanding of the sales pipeline, key drivers, and the role that marketing plays at each stage of the buyer and customer journeys
  • A passion and track-record of conceiving and executing impactful brand campaigns and content that break through market clutter
  • Ability to influence others and gain buy-in at the team, peer and executive level
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment, where everyone must be willing to be the “Floor Sweeper” and have a get it done attitude
