As the Vice President of Marketing at Onna, you will lead the marketing function for the company reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.  You will be responsible for driving demand and developing integrated marketing programs to generate revenue and market awareness of Onna.  You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Partnerships, and Communications to develop our marketing strategy and ensure alignment across all departments and channels.  You are energized by creating a new category and can combine quick action and experimentation with the ability to create scalable data-driven processes.  As our VP of Marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to define our marketing strategy and lead, operationalize and scale our team.

What you’ll do:

  • Scale our marketing department.  
    • Identify talent needs, hire and manage a high-performing integrated marketing team and Business Development Representatives 
    • Manage the marketing budget, develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities 
  • Define and direct marketing programs.  
    • Lead campaigns and programs to drive demand
    • Collaborate with our VP of Revenue and Sales Operations for lead tracking and management. 
  • Collaborate and lead across the organization. 
    • Raise awareness and visibility of Onna and of Knowledge Integration Platform as a category
    • Collaborate with product marketing on competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and product positioning
    • Work with product and design teams on website strategy and content 
    • Partner closely with sales to support the attainment of our revenue goals 

You should have: 

  • Experience leading the marketing organization of a successful enterprise SaaS technology start-up during a high-growth period (preferably in the data space) 
  • You are a self-starter, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to define goals, communicate clearly, and prioritize your work.
  • You have a demonstrated record of personally producing marketing deliverables, go-to-market initiatives and exceeding goals.
  • You exhibit a high degree of organizational intelligence about how enterprise clients typically buy and ideally have experience marking self-serve products.
  • You have a proven ability to operationalize processes, instill best practices, and ensure operational excellence within a team, including the ability to transform manual solutions into scalable systems.
