We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP of Brand and Buzz to drive awareness of Goodwall and ensure a positive image for Goodwall users, clients and Educational partners. Reporting to the Managing Director, you manage Goodwall’s PR strategy and create a range of compelling and impactful communication which will showcase the mission and achievements of Goodwall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for creating the Goodwall Brand’s image and tone as well as generating Buzz around Goodwall and its mission
  • Devise and execute Goodwall's PR strategy. You get to call the shots regarding PR and grow quickly with the company. You will be tasked with getting Goodwall widely covered in the press. In the short-term the objective is features in tier 1 publications: The New York Times, USA Today, TIME magazine, etc.
  • Produce a steady supply of content and resources including newsletters, videos, blogs, press releases, etc. for a range of channels, including online, social media, mobile, video and print which will drive awareness of the Goodwall brand
  • Provide the marketing and sales teams with up-to-date material and presentations
  • Manage external bloggers, influencers and content providers
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce effective and creative buzz for Goodwall and its mission
  • Identify new content types and new channels to increase effectiveness of communication

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven expertise, 6 – 10 years, in PR, marketing and creating content for Consumer facing apps
  • Ability to generate content ideas across a broad range of content types and channels
  • Familiar with social media with an understanding of Search Engine Optimization
  • Ability to interpret concepts, follow trends and contribute new ideas to create buzz
  • Exceptional creative writing, public speaking and storytelling skills
  • An established network of PR contacts in the United States.
  • Self-directed. You are the type of person who sets goals and executes on what it takes to achieve them.
  • Resourceful and creative
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
