Reporting to the CMO, the VP of Marketing Operations is instrumental in enabling the Marketing team’s performance, measurability, efficiency, and success; aligning it to the broader business goals and keeping it focused on the most critical business priorities; facilitating strong partnership, handoffs, and support across the organization; and sharing out Marketing priorities, successes, and learnings within the team and across the organization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and lead a high-performing, service-minded Marketing Operations Team that’s responsible for building and maintaining a highly measurable and efficient end-to-end lead to revenue management system; all departmental analytics & reporting; martech selection, implementation, and administration; best-in-class email marketing; the website & digital marketing; campaign operations, and enabling the overall performance and success of the Marketing Team
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance on a broad range of granular operational priorities, including attribution models and measurement; hand-offs and expectations across departments; data hygiene and management; data governance and compliance; and technology selection that aligns to clear strategy - and ensure optimal delivery of those priorities by the Marketing Operations team
- Partner closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to oversee day-to-day operations of the department, including quarterly and annual planning processes; annual and recurring budget processes; demand modeling and measurement of the model; and goal & KPI setting and tracking
- Partner directly with marketing team members and cross-functional leaders to align on projects, priorities, dependencies, timelines and expectations; and to deliver to meet or exceed expectations
- Build dashboards and systems to proactively monitor the health and performance of marketing campaigns and activities; and ensure that performance from campaign launch to completion and after is visible to the Marketing Team
- Develop and oversee team processes that provide visibility into the projects, campaigns, and overall Marketing calendar across functions; help to proactively identify potential delivery issues; and ensure consistent, proven project management.
What we expect from you:
- 10+ years of Marketing Operations experience in healthcare and/or technology, with a minimum of 4 years of SaaS and/or high-growth experience.
- Proven experience building and leading a high-performing Marketing Operations team, with some prior experience leading a centralized functional team such as web, digital or email marketing
- Proven success collaborating with Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, Customer Success and executive teams
- Deep expertise in marketing technology, strategy, and demand measurement
- You lead by example, ready to dive into the weeds on execution -- but able to zoom out and navigate high-level strategy.
- Proven ability to partner with all levels of management as a tactical and strategic partner, coach, and advisor.
- You’re humble, hungry, honest.
- You’re entrepreneurial and growth-minded.
- You can navigate vagueness and drive clarity
- You have prior experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Iterable, 6Sense or a similar set of MarTech tools
- And, it’s a plus if you have an understanding of the Mental Health and/or Health Insurance industry and landscape
