Vericred has built the first multi-carrier, end-to-end quoting, enrollment and member management API solution for Health Insurance and Employee Benefits. With adoption from all of the major medical carriers and overwhelming traction from end-user-facing platforms, our Quoting and Enrollments APIs are set for massive growth and industry disruption.

At its core, Vericred is a technology and data company. Our first ever VP of Marketing will oversee and guide all activities and performance of the Marketing department which includes Branding, Communications, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Events, Content, and PR. They will bring significant experience and energy to the position and build out a Marketing function and strategy that supports and drives Vericred’s next phase of growth.

This role is based out of our NYC Headquarters and reports to the CEO. 
 

In this role you will: 

  • Lead, oversee and execute strategy on company marketing initiatives that contribute to high growth goals, including product marketing, customer acquisition, marketing operations, content, events, social media, PR, branding, and more.
  • Align closely with product and sales teams to understand our customers needs, create go-to-market strategies, communications and collateral that reflect the company brand and value proposition for customers.
  • Be an ambassador at the forefront of the Vericred brand with the ability to clearly and skillfully communicate and engage with stakeholders at every level.
  • Create, execute, measure and refine all aspects of integrated marketing campaigns to generate demand and pipeline, including automated lead nurturing programs and cold outreach campaigns.
  • Evangelize Vericred with partners, and together with Sales, drive a repeatable, high-impact sell to, and sell through, process.
  • Build a community of Vericred partners and others that goes beyond our brand and seeks to unite an industry. 
  • Motivate, mentor, and develop the existing/new team and develop a long-term plan for marketing team structure and growth.
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning, keeping track of budget, and reporting on marketing initiatives’ performance, with a focus on ROI & revenue growth
  • Exercise a data-centric approach to gather customer/user insights and use data to improve future marketing campaigns and results

We’d love to hear from you if you have: 

  • 10+ years’ experience in B2B marketing with increasing responsibility. Platform business model experience is ideal as is experience in health insurance and employee benefits.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, building and managing a marketing organization with superior ability to recruit, retain, and motivate our existing and future team.
  • Superior communication skills and a knack for storytelling 
  • Passion for creating community and connecting on a deeper level with different audience segments 
  • Expertise with building a brand through social media, customer experience (including case-studies), content, videos, a company website and other digital touchpoints
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently and transparently communicate marketing goals and results at a team, executive, and company leve
  • Experience in current marketing automation and related software such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Analytics and knowledge of market trends in digital marketing technology

  • A demonstrated history of being a team player and desire to jump in and get your hands dirty as needed. This is not a “behind the desk” role.
