About the Role

The 340B Policy Manager will serve as the primary representative and subject matter expert of Tango340B for internal staff, as well as externally, to all current and potential clients. You will collaboratively work with representatives from our internal teams including: pharmacy, legal, compliance, finance, customer success, and senior leadership. You will also partner with external teams: pharmacies, software vendors, manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers and third-party administrators. You are considered a compliance expert regarding 340B program details, policies and procedures and will be a trusted advisor who is staying well-informed on all evolving 340B programs. 

Responsibilities  

  • Policy and Procedure Development

    • Develop, ensure and modify  all 340B policies and procedures follow appropriate guidelines (organizational, national, regional, state, federal) 

    • Create, promote and communicate programs that support the goals of our clients and ultimately set Tango340B apart from our competitors 

  • Continuous Education and Networking Ability 

    • Routinely provide internal learning opportunities, trainings and communications to the Tango340B staff 

    • Bring awareness to any 340B program, policy or procedure changes to our clients in the form of a routine communication blast, newsletter or post live call with their customer success manager 

    • Provide 340B guidance and/or rule changes to internal and external stakeholders

    • Attend regular trainings to develop your knowledge of the 340B program and keep up to speed on program trends and issues  

    • Experience with engaging with government organizations, and an understanding of legislative issues related to the 340B Program

    • Participate in keynote speaking engagements and attend educational conferences 

    • A strong network and involved in HRSA, 340B Health, etc 

  • Registration and Recertification 

    • Ensure our clients meet the annual HRSA recertification timeline and that it is completed in a timely manner

  • Audits

    • Develop an audit program and coordinate timing with clients to meet HRSA specifications 

    • Analyze claim data to identify trends leading to an increased capture rate and/or decreased compliance risk.

    • Review data regularly and routinely, ensuring compliance is within regulations

    • Provide oversight for all audits and remain in an “audit readiness” state

  • Reporting

    • Provide in-depth reporting to senior leadership and internal and external project teams. This includes, but is not limited to financials, scorecards, metric reporting, savings, etc

Requirements  

  • 5+ years of extensive 340B Program experience 

  • Apexus 340B Certified 

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • Strong organization skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, verbal communication and business writing skills

  • You are an independent, self starter with a sense of urgency to complete tasks, organized and can manage your time wisely in an ever evolving industry

  • Customer service oriented and exceeds in a collaborative, startup environment

Nice to Have 

  • Masters Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration 

  • Technically savvy and proficient with Google Suite, Slack, Click Up, SharePoint, ZoomInfo and more
