POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager will be he main point of contact post-sale for a Fortune 100 bank that caters to the top retailers in the US. As the main point of contact, you will be responsible for coordinating conversations with technical, project management, marketing and launch teams to ensure that everyone's expectations are being met. This role will focus on project management, relationship building, client satisfaction and overall account growth.
The Account Manager will regularly engage with the client to ensure the product is working as intended and is providing the expected value. You will handle customer concerns, direct clients to the appropriate departments for issue resolution and will oversee the escalation of support inquiries as needed.
The successful candidate must be a relationship management expert who is able to maintain a deep knowledge of the client's industry, product and role in the market and will also keep the client updated about new Payfone offerings. Through their relationship with the client, the Account Manager will work with the Sales Representative to identify new opportunities and build a solid, long-term, relationship with the client. Some travel to client meetings and conferences is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Business Development team, the Account Manager is expected to:
- Build relationships with key account contacts through proactive outreach.
- Respond to customer inquiries according to contracted service level agreements and escalate to the appropriate departments as necessary.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gauge satisfaction and ensure retention.
- Achieve revenue quotas through account renewals and upsells.
- Act as the client's internal advocate at Payfone.
- Collect and share customer feedback with the Product and Development teams to improve product features.
- Stay up-to-date on the Payfone suite of products and educate customers on new features and products.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years' experience as an Account Manager or Sales representative in a software company.
- Track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
COMPENSATION
A compensation package composed of a base salary and equity component will be structured to attract a uniquely qualified candidate. Excellent health benefits are included.
