About the role:

You’ll be joining the strategic New Initiatives team at Transfix that works on developing new commercial and technology solutions that drive value for our shipping and carrier partners. You will help with the scheduling execution for an exciting new project that leverages technology and data science.

What you'll do:

• Solve logistical problems in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of our shipments
• Schedule pickups and deliveries to ensure optimal transit times and on-time compliance
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers and internal colleagues
• Resolve customer issues (product availability, administrative errors, etc)
• Work with the operations team to communicate the customer’s needs and expectations
• Partner with New Initiatives leadership to optimize processes and procedures and identify technological improvements

About You:

• 1-3 years of experience in transportation or other logistics industry experience
• Must be flexible - we are disrupting an industry so changes to traditional processes should be expected
• Organized, and manage your time efficiently
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
