As an Administrative Assistant, you'll provide high-quality administrative support for senior level executives in a fast-paced professional services environment.
In this role you will:

  • Provide proactive support for senior level executives, with internal/external commitments in a fast-paced and changing client service environment (these are the primary responsibilities, with some days more administrative focused than others):
    • Coordinating and scheduling (and re-scheduling) client/internal meetings and events with an understanding of business priorities - proactively managing complex calendars and solving problems before anyone knows they exist
    • Anticipating and coordinating point-to-point travel needs as necessary, including booking all travel and hotels, directions, commuting time and ground transportation
    • Processing timesheets and expenses on a timely basis
    • Providing backup support to other executives when needed
    • Maintaining confidentiality while privy to sensitive information
  • Proactively lean in to support high priority activities for senior level executives and their venture teams (this will vary by need):
    • Assisting with the creation and preparation of client team materials - slides, proposals, onboarding decks, including proofreading and copying/binding
    • Acting as a thought partner and trusted advisor to executives, their teams, and others at DV by making sure they know what they need to know and guiding them toward making right decisions about use of time
  • Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders - executives, clients, assistants, and your peers


You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent or at least two years related experience; supporting individuals at the executive level strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or customer service experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; perform tasks with high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work flexible hours, if needed
  • Curiosity - interest in understanding the big picture; ability to learn about what's going on and independently asking "why" to exercise appropriate prioritization and judgment with daily activities; understanding the broader objectives will help you be more successful in the role
  • Insight - connect the dots, identify patterns, make predictions, and take intuitive leaps; willing to take ownership and risks to get to a great answer; open to feedback
  • Teaming - creates effective interpersonal relationships and builds connections across all stakeholders; demonstrate high levels of customer service
  • Execution - getting the work done right (and efficiently) the first time; organized and doesn't sweat the small stuff
