Who you are:

You are a highly motivated management consultant / operations professional, with experience driving a wide portfolio of mission-critical projects and responsibilities in a technology-focused setting. You have demonstrable experience working cross-functionally to achieve ambitious goals, and are comfortable bringing clarity and structure to complex and nuanced operational challenges. You are highly process-oriented, and are able to delve into the details whilst aligning output with overall business strategy. Data is central to everything you do, and you have strong data analysis skills and experience. You are comfortable communicating with all levels of a company, and are able to design scalable solutions that are well suited for rapid growth. You enjoy a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and are comfortable changing direction quickly when needed. You are passionate about technology, social media, data/information architecture, and constantly strive to improve the way things are done.

You will work in the Domain Expert Global Operations team, and lead a small team of highly motivated operations professionals. The role will require close partnership with senior management, content experts, data scientists, product managers and engineers. You will be in a highly visible role with exposure to some of our most difficult challenges, and support our ambitious growth goals.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred. 
  • 2-4 years in a top-tier management consultancy, investment banking, or high profile operations role. Previous high-growth technology company experience is a plus.
  • Highly proficient at identifying and understanding the root-causes of operational challenges, and developing and launching effective and scalable solutions.
  • Able to lead through influence across different levels/teams.
  • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and able to develop strong partnerships within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, focused on enabling and enhancing operational decision making.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and able to match communication style with the target audience - internal staff, executive-level or external vendor partners etc.
  • High level of proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Slides), and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau).
  • People management experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with analytic/developer languages (SQL, Python etc) is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team focused on core operations, spanning both day-to-day operational problem solving and longer-term projects and initiatives.
  • Provide operations leadership, expertise and advice to senior leadership and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Own/improve core operational process used 24/7, 365 days a year by multiple teams, across several time zones.
  • Own/improve data models and processes that provide support and direction to operations teams. 
  • Oversee the operational frameworks that bring customer feedback data into the operations teams, and turn it into actionable insights for multiple stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, AI and other cross-functional partners.
  • Constantly reassess operational workflows through data analysis and engagement with different teams, constantly looking to innovate and improve performance.
  • Serve as a versatile member of the Global Operations team in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced organization.
