We are looking for a Billing Manager to join our team that will report directly to the Billing Solutions Manager and will be focused on managing a team of Billing Specialists who ensure that our members get the most accurate, efficient and human billing experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in leading a fast paced team and is comfortable in amorphous environments with constantly evolving responsibilities. We are seeking a leader who is always looking for new efficiencies and is not afraid to pitch in and help the team wherever needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as a leader by engaging and growing a team of Billing Specialists
- Identify trends or patient issues and initiate corrective action to improve the patient experience in terms of cost transparency.
- Provide feedback and advice on product/technology/service improvements.
- Audit claims to ensure accurate Charge Capture
- Ensure that the team maintains their quoted SLAs
- Resolve issues with patients who have billing concerns.
- Manage and enhance current KPI reporting
- Support the launch of new programs that may impact Billing team
- Provide feedback and advice on product/technology/service improvements.
- Own ad hoc operational efficiency projects as needed by the Billing Solutions Manager.
What we expect from you:
- At least two (2) years in the behavioral health or medical field in a similar position.
- At least two (1) years managing a medium sized teamExcellent customer service skills.
- Your ability to communicate technical information in a way that is easy for patients to understand is a huge plus!
- Tech-savvy: very comfortable adopting new technologies and platforms and efficient in tech-related tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and context switch!
- Bonus: Experience working in measurement-based care!
