Who you are:

As our Business Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, you will leverage your deep passion for analytical problem solving with technical/functional aptitude in Salesforce. You should have experience consulting with internal stakeholders to deliver successful end-to-end solutions via CRM systems. You will be the key consultant to internal stakeholders, act as Salesforce system administrator/developer, and work with other functional leaders and business operations colleagues to implement solutions for the business. You will also act as a thought leader, best practice driver, and an expert in maximizing the effectiveness and adoption of the various CRM tools within the organization. Reporting to our Manager of Sales Operations, you will be key in executing initiatives directly tied to our sales growth targets, customer success efforts, revenue retention, and cross functional/system integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with stakeholders to elicit business requirements, develop technical approaches, and deliver CRM solutions to address strategic business problems
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify, represent, and communicate key business metrics, and develop/manage dashboards and reports
  • Perform ongoing system administration (maintaining user roles, security settings, profiles, workflow rules, and data integrity)
  • Develop/manage forms, templates, custom objects, object relationships, fields, and layouts
  • Assist with database de-duping and cleanup procedures, including data migrations and/or mass data uploads
  • Help drive end-user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, support, and training
  • Provide technical insight and expertise on integrations with Salesforce, both for existing third-party applications and any potential applications being evaluated

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Salesforce certification(s) required
    • Administrator and/or Platform App Builder certification(s) preferred
  • 3+ years of strong technical and functional experience with Salesforce.com
  • Proficient in working with custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formula fields, reports & dashboards
  • Knowledge of Apex (Language, Trigger, Class), Visualforce (Pages), SOQL
  • Comfortable with the end-to-end Salesforce development lifecycle (Sandbox creation and maintenance, developing in sandboxes, test coverage, change sets, maintaining a staging environment, deployments to Production)
  • Familiarity with customizing native Salesforce quote-to-cash functionality (Opportunities, Products, Price Books, Quotes, Orders, and Contracts)
  • Familiarity with the Batch and Bulk APIs, along with an understanding of Salesforce’s governor limits preferred
  • Experience with the Salesforce admin/developer ecosystem, and an interest in keeping abreast of Salesforce releases to learn about any changes/new features introduced by Salesforce
  • Knowledge of data structures, data modeling and database schemas; working knowledge of SQL is helpful; previous experience configuring/maintaining bidirectional data syncs between a Data Warehouse and Salesforce a plus
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Nice to have
    • Experience customizing third-party tools and integrations in Salesforce, from simple AppExchange apps to highly customizable and robust solutions (e.g. Xactly, Totango)
    • Familiarity with Data.com, InsideView, and other data enrichment vendors a plus
