You will generate data-driven insights that accelerate our ability to move advertisers through their customer lifecycle and help our global advertisers, big and small, get discovered by millions of people looking for things to plan buy and do.  

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and lead cross-functional global strategic initiatives to improve the operational excellence of Pinterest Sales and Service organization
  • Focus on scale operations, increase effectiveness and drive efficiency with alignment and adoption with sales/service teams
  • Identify operational pain points and use data to size, prioritize and recommend solutions
  • Recommend and lead processes changes, systems, and workflow automation to improve the speed and quality of advertiser experience working with our Sales and Service teams
  • Mine data to find insights on the performance of the operations of the Sales and Service teams
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to facilitate the successful execution of product launches

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to lead through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing strategic orientation and operational efficiency to ensure we deliver what is “right” for the customer.
  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions. Ability to think both creatively and critically, willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
  • Specific skills: Advanced Excel modeling required, building business cases and strategic narratives via PowerPoint and verbally. SQL knowledge preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA grad preferred)
  • Strong preference for past roles in management/strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business operations, sales operations or systems operations.
