Your impact on our mission:

In this crucial role, you will provide operational support to teams across our business to drive growth and improve efficiency. Our team plays a key role in defining Zocdoc’s strategy, but our strength is transforming that strategy into a detailed, action-oriented plan upon which our business can execute. Our business is expanding quickly, and we’re looking for future leaders.

A Strategic Operations Manager serves as the primary owner of one or more strategic workstreams or initiatives, with a particular focus on enhancing advanced operational processes.

Your day-to-day is...

  • Problem-solving with individuals at all levels (including executives) across a broad range of departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Finance)
  • Overseeing the day-to-day progress of critical initiatives to ensure teams remain focused and on-track
  • Identifying and removing obstacles that put company objectives at risk
  • Developing and analyzing KPIs, visualizations, and insights which allow us to better target resource investments
  • Building and streamlining process and structure to improve productivity and transparency (e.g., workflow management, pipeline visibility and insights, go-to-market solutioning, policy), and streamlining/simplifying processes and policies

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • 6+ years of work experience in relevant roles such as business/revenue/sales operations, program management, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking
  • A proven track record of collaborating across departments and all levels of leadership
  • Resourcefulness, nimbleness, and the ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Comfort with taking initiative in a constantly-changing work environment 
  • The willingness to roll up your sleeves and be resourceful to solve ambiguous challenges
  • A well-equipped influencing toolkit that is effective across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • A passion for operational excellence and organization
