Alt is on a mission to make investing in alternative assets as easy as investing in stocks. What we are looking for:
As a card grader at Alt, you will review and grade trading cards. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive industry knowledge of trading cards of all varieties and be able to contribute to the growth of the Alt grading program through industry experience and depth. The individual should have strong communications skills, attention to detail, and be comfortable working cross-functionally. The preferred applicant will have three to five years of grading experience as a professional, dealer or collector in a fast-paced work environment.
The impact you will make:
- Maintain individual Alt Grading production and quality goals
- Create and maintain internal authentication procedures and policy
- Assess raw card condition, quality and grade the item using established standards
- Share expert knowledge to help improve skill of the entire Alt Grading Team
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a high-volume and fast-paced operational, B2B or logistics support environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage effectively, set goals, super high attention to detail, and enjoys challenging situations
- Self motivated with a deep affinity for problem solving, always challenging the status quo and never settling for how something ‘has always been done’
- Always willing to roll up your sleeves and take on something hands-on
