Care Coordinator Opportunity
This is not your typical healthcare support role, it’s much more! Work at Pager office headquarters in the heart of SoHo in NYC, providing concierge patient support.
Care Coordinators are key players in daily operations at Pager. Their focus is to navigate patients through the complex healthcare ecosystem in a professional and warm manner. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys partnering with nurses and providers to offer creative solutions to health care needs in an always moving and fast-paced virtual patient setting. A key aspect of this role will be written communication through live chat with an empathetic human touch.
We are seeking an experienced service-minded professional who is detail-oriented and an organized self-starter with outstanding interpersonal skills. Great fit for medical students and assistants!
Command Center responsibilities:
- Provide concierge care support via live messaging, phone, and email
- Ensure the highest quality customer service
- Troubleshoot real time technology needs
- Collaborate with clinicians to provide a seamless patient experience
- Coordinate provider appointments, prescription orders, and procedures
- Pilot new initiatives and projects
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings
- 2+ years of experience in customer or patient facing service role
- Strong writing skills
- Tech-savvy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and processes
- Knowledge of outpatient ecosystem
- Medical Assistant Certification is a plus

Schedule Details
- Shifts available: Full time position
- 5 shifts a week
- Includes every other weekend
- Command Center service hours are 24/7
- Shifts available:
- 8am-4:30pm
- 4pm-12:30am
- 12am-8:30am
- Eligible for overtime
