Pager is hiring a Care Coordinator to help navigate patients through the complex healthcare ecosystem in a professional and warm manner. Care Coordinators are key players in daily operations at Pager. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys partnering with nurses and providers to offer creative solutions to health care needs in an always moving and fast-paced virtual patient setting. A key aspect of this role will be written communication through live chat with an empathetic human touch, so we are looking for an experienced service-minded professional. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide concierge care support via live messaging, phone, and email
  • Ensure the highest quality customer service
  • Troubleshoot real time technology needs 
  • Collaborate with clinicians to provide a seamless patient experience
  • Coordinate provider appointments and procedures
  • Pilot new initiatives and projects

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 2+ years of experience in customer or patient facing service role
  • Strong writing skills
  • Tech-savvy
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, processes, and the outpatient ecosystem
  • Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings is a plus
  • Enjoy helping others and eager to challenge the status quo of traditional healthcare
  • Zest for problem solving, seeking answers, and trying new things
  • Kind, empathetic, and possesses a strong social perceptiveness
  • Positive team player
  • Outstanding multitasking skills
  • Flexible and fast learner, comfortable in a changing environment

SCHEDULE DETAILS

  • Full time: 
    • 3x12hr shifts/week 
    • Day = 8am - 8pm
    • Night = 8pm - 8am
    • May include weekends
    • Eligible for overtime and shift differential
  • Shifts available:
    • Night
    • Flex
    • Command Center service hours are 24/7
