We are seeking an exceptional CEO who is passionate about animals and believes pets are an important member of a family. The CEO will provide future vision and lead high performing teams while owning the end to end success of this disruptive startup.

  • Manage competition and threats in the marketplace, with constant evaluation of financial structure, capital strategy & strategic priorities

  • Evolve and extend the value proposition to build “more than just an insurance product”
  • Provide expert guidance to all functional areas, including operations, sales, marketing & product
  •  
  • Mobilize Stakeholders
  • Regularly report updates to Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders regarding progress on strategic priorities, and collaborate with Board of Directors to accelerate progress
  • Invest in strategic partnerships & relationships to drive growth
  • Inspire by Meaning & Purpose
  • Serve as chief external spokesperson and public champion for the business
  • Establish credibility throughout the customer and partner network by authentic engagement to galvanize company to create & drive solutions to core business challenges

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience (within last 7 years) leading and scaling high growth (corporate) ventures, preferably company with funding in leadership role (C-suite or VP level) and 20+ employees.
  • P&L responsibilities at C-level or as Head of significant BU
  • Proven recent track record of building successful products and high caliber teams from the ground up.
  • Delivered and scaled products in the market with experience along full growth cycle of the startup. Ability to drive B2B partnerships and activate DTC.
  • 5+ years in digital healthcare/ insurance preferred with exposure to (digital) pet industry favored. Brings understanding of working in regulatory environments.
  • Proven success in collaborating with Board of Directors for start- up or with strategic funding partner. Shows clear understanding of complexity inherent to interfacing with a publicly traded company.
