What We Need
As Chief Operating Officer, you will lead and manage the cross functional teams responsible for platform efficiency, tech-operations workflow and operational excellence. In this high-profile role, you will drive the reorganization of teams, processes, workflows that will deliver reliable, scalable output in an evolving ecosystem processing real-time, high volume transactions and data sets. The ideal profile is a veteran technologist with strong business acumen with a passion for analytical problems and process driven execution.
Responsibilites
Reporting to the CEO, the COO will:
- Partner with business leaders, technology leaders, and other stakeholders to champion the strategy, design, development, launch, and management of products and features that meet strategic and business objectives
- Implement checks and controls with a regular cadence that continuously evaluates and makes recommendations on the KPIs we measure, streamline workflows and reporting, and make actionable insights easier to find and implement
- Own the business operations/business intelligence function of the business- making recommendations on process, people and technology to support a scaled operation
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, focusing on product performance, campaign delivery, demand-supply behavior and other trend drivers with a focus on proposing actions that should be taken to improve the overall business outcomes
- Provide strategic thought leadership to business owners and communicate key analytical insights to stakeholders across the company
- Promote benefits of major initiatives across product, marketing, sales, etc. as input for product roadmap and prioritization
- Establish best practices for your team that ensures delivery of quality products in alignment with expectations
- Provide technical leadership centered on innovation, experimentation, productivity and collaboration
- Leverage in-depth understanding of our product capabilities and product offerings as well as trends to inform and help guide our overall product strategy in a rapidly changing digital advertising landscape
Requirements
- Demonstrated success leading, driving, and delivering on technology strategies
- Proven ability to manage a diverse group of engineers and product teams, technologies
- 10+ years experience in leading real-time, scaled technology organizations, preferably in
Adtech/Martech, Data Analytics or SaaS environments - Extensive experience working with all levels of the organization (executives, creatives, client
success, developers, analysts, etc.) - Demonstrable thought leadership building data-driven decision and measurement solutions
- Exceptional analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
Nice to Have
- Expertise in big data applications/solutions, and big data technologies. Snowflake, Amazon Kinesis are preferred
- Experience in entrepreneurial, high growth environments is strongly preferred
