Chief of Staff for the Chief Operating Officer
As Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide him with leverage and support the general governance of the Redesign Health platform as we look to launch many new companies each year and support the rapid growth of our existing portfolio.
You will report to and work with the Chief Operating Officer at our New York City headquarters. Note: the Redesign team is working remotely through at least March 31, 2021.
What you'll do:
- Improve the process to launch and build companies
- Ensure that the operating company creation process is running smoothly in real time and that there is compliance with the established processes
- Collect feedback on the processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement these changes as appropriate
- Liaise with the founding Chiefs of Staff at operating companies to provide thought partnership and to regularly collect their feedback on the platform services model
- Improve and scale stakeholder engagement
- Act as eyes and ears on the ground to provide the COO with the leverage and information to foster strong stakeholder relationships across the Redesign ecosystem
- Identify and address issues before they become challenges, and be regarded as a thought partner for problem solving and strategy development
- Own internal CRM for stakeholder engagement; with tracking and flagging mechanisms built in
- Help Redesign Health's platform team run even more smoothly
- Own and manage the project management infrastructure for the platform team to ensure strong communication and coordination across various initiatives and projects
- Lead weekly tactical meetings for platform leaders
- Drive OKR planning for the platform team
- Own platform leadership engagement (.g. team offsites, social events, etc.)
- Manage bi-weekly sprint progress meetings
What you'll need:
- Background
- 4-6 years total work experience, with at least 2 years at a top tier management consulting firm.
- 1+ year working in a Chief of Staff, strategy or operational role inside a company that was growing quickly.
