We’re searching for a highly qualified chief of staff to work closely with our CEO, Adrien Menard. From day one, the chief of staff will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between department heads. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.

Your responsibilities:

  • CEO and Leadership Support: Support the CEO by ensuring prioritization of time and resources based on evolving business imperatives; Moderate top management and company-wide meetings; governance of Executive Meetings and Global Team Meetings; Work closely with the Executive Team across the company in order to support them in growing and developing their departments
  • Strategy: Work hand in hand with the CEO, gain insight into all relevant business areas, and actively influence the development and growth of the company; Work on some of the most important strategic & operational topics from ideation, research, up until initial implementation; Accelerate decision-making by acting as a proxy for the founders in meetings and ensuring content is reflective of the company strategy
  • Communication: Amplify the CEO’s communication inside the organization and with external stakeholders; Define and develop internal and external touchpoints; Provide clear updates to the CEO and Executive team on progress, blockers and risks
  • MBO, reporting and business planning: Take responsibility for the company-wide quarterly MBO process in line with the company strategy (MBO Champion); Own the regular MBO reporting both internally and for our Investors; Help company’s departments scale by managing scale progress reviews and MBO analysis to direct budgeting and investment priorities
  • Projects: Lead cross-functional projects that are important for the company; Assume day-to-day Portfolio Management of critical transformation projects and enable cross-departmental collaboration

Your qualifications:

  • 5+ years of total experience between working in a startup and working in a global consulting firm
  • Full working proficiency in English and French
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; perfect command of basic data and presentation tools
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
  • Very strong problem-solving and analytical skills; proven ability to break problems down into components and propose efficient solutions
  • Hands-on project management skills with strong stakeholder management abilities at all levels

Our NY office is located in the heart of FiDi with plenty of bars and restaurants. Plus, the office is easy to get to with various train and bus stops being close by.

What are some social events your company does?

The great thing about Botify is that you actually want to spend time with your colleagues outside of working hours. Pre COVID, the company would host happy hours, an annual holiday dinner and karaoke night, participate in sports leagues like soccer and kickball, and we even had a global summit in Barcelona to meet our UK and French counterparts.
