Spruce is looking for a Client Operations Associate to join its growing team in NYC. The Client Operations Associate will be a crucial member of the Operations team and involved in processing real estate transactions. This ideal candidate will have an interest in real estate and passion for a fast-paced startup environment. The Client Operations Associate should love interacting with clients and be able to have empathy for each one.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Operations team to efficiently and effectively process real estate transactions
• Interface with real estate, lender, and borrower clients to manage and process orders from beginning to end
• Review and analyze title search results, track down the necessary documents to clear issues (e.g. order payoffs, track down commission statements)
• Coordinate with all parties in the transaction to ensure a smooth and seamless closing
• Help improve title production workflow by thinking outside the box and providing input and feedback to the product team developing new production software

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent 
• 1+ years of work experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A love of technology and a strong desire to solve problems 
• Desire to work in a team environment and a positive, self-starter attitude 
• Ability to prioritize the importance of a number of different tasks without micromanagement
• Ability to maintain professionalism with colleagues and clients
• Desire to innovate and improve upon process
