Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee analytics to support ongoing operations needs
  • Collaborate with Executive Team and leaders from key business functions (sales, marketing, underwriting, implementation, client services, clinical operations) to design, refine, automate, and maintain data analytics capabilities
  • Develop ad hoc and standard reports to support internal and external analytics and reporting needs
  • Manage workflow for inbound and outbound data requests, reporting deliverables, and other inquiries
  • Collaborate with client management to translate data findings into strategic metrics and recommendations
  • Support development of regular client deliverables
  • Integrate quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide strategic insights to clients (plan performance, utilization trends, cohort analyses, savings projections)
  • Work with Executive Leadership on special projects and new product initiatives

Qualifications / Profile:

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree, with record of strong academic performance in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics
  • Advanced degree preferred, but not required
  • PBM / health plan experience preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience in data & analytics, benefits consulting, financial consulting, etc.
  • Experience performing complex analyses on large sets of data
  • Knowledge of data management, statistics, modeling
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other data visualization tools
  • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on deliverables
  • Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
  • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
