ABOUT THE ROLE: 

MANTL is looking for an Instructional Designer to build scalable training programs and resources to support our clients and internal teams. As an Instructional Designer, you’ll identify and monitor training program needs as well as design, plan, and implement policies, procedures, and systems to fulfil those. You have the opportunity to become a leading expert in all MANTL products and have a major impact as our customers and new team members learn the product for the first time. 

You will sit on the Enablement team and work closely with the Implementations, Customer Success, and Operations teams to build out programs that streamline the onboarding experience and growth of existing customers while ensuring a smooth support transition after launching on MANTL. 

You should be comfortable with managing communication across mature organizations and interfacing with technical teams, non-technical teams, and customers while acting as a customer advocate across internal product, engineering and design teams.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful training programs
  • Hyper-organized and strong multi-tasker with an ability to intelligently prioritize multiple competing projects and timelines
  • “A” player who has a passion for problem-solving, with a strong ability to recognize flawed processes or repeated issues and build scalable solutions
  • Technical aptitude to learn quickly and rapidly build product knowledge at MANTL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both internal and client-facing, with an ability to translate technical requirements into language understandable and digestible by different audiences
  • Strategic and creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a drive to get things right the first time
  • 4+ years in an instructional design role, preferably client-facing at a growth stage technology/SaaS company

Preferred

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and customer-facing knowledge portals
  • JIRA proficiency or similar project management software
  • Prior experience at a FinTech company or other financial institution subject to regulations

MANTL is located in NoMad, Manhattan within walking distance of some of NYC's best restaurants, bars, and shopping! The office is easy to get to with various train and bus stops being close by.
